Problem: Developing new customer letters is costly and time-consuming.

Previously, clients produced quick-turn, small-quantity letters manually in-house. The resources required to produce these letters and the full first-class postage required to mail from their office became unfeasible. When items such as welcome kits needed to be delivered quickly, client personnel were overwhelmed and unable to conduct business as usual.
Results: Venture developed an online letter management system that allows clients to quickly and easily create letters, including logos and signatures, and place them into production at Venture as quickly as same-day. Clients control the content, layout and approval process, saving testing and review time. Once approved, jobs are submitted to production and run through Venture's job management system the same as any other job, including all VentureAccess® reporting services. Clients get a faster, streamlined process and, because, these smaller quantities are mailed with other Venture mail, we can pass on the postage savings.
Better than Aspirin
Problem: Each month, stacks of client mail are stamped "return to sender" by the USPS and shoved into the corner of company mailrooms until someone opens the mail and determines who it was supposed to be delivered to, what is in the envelope and why it wasn't delivered. Not a glorious task.
Desired solution & benefit: Create an automated process to receive, sort, analyze and record return mail to determine who the mail was delivered to, who it was delivered from, what is in the envelope and why it was returned. By placing a Venture return address and key internal information in the envelope window, Venture is able to receive the mail, identify it, tie it into the original production job, record the USPS reason-for-return code and post an image of the mail piece online for clients to view. Then, Venture transmits all of the information back to the client to update address records or schedule another communication attempt.
Results: What used to be a time-consuming manual process is now a fully-automated system, resulting in less wasted mail, cleaner address files and a happier mailroom.

Problem: Clients want to use more electronic communications to reduce costs, but poor reporting information prohibited clients from documenting the effectiveness of their electronic communications.
Desired solution & benefit: Develop an e-mail delivery system that would provide the best electronic delivery along with the best of Venture's print production control practices. Venture created a system to deliver communications electronically in a manner that clients can track and document each e-mail in order to comply with the ever-evolving and commonplace federal and state regulations.
Results: With Venture's advanced email delivery, clients are able to go online to VentureAccess® and see how many e-mails were sent, received, opened, acted on and rejected. Thanks to these comprehensive reporting capabilities, clients get total accountability while benefiting from less expensive communications. Additionally, by implementing email into their communications, they project an image of being a forward-thinking company.
